consultAppointmentsAn appointment system is in operation at the surgery and you are free to attend any doctor no matter who is named on your medical card.

You can book your appointment, either by telephoning 0844 4773170 or calling at the surgery.

Please avoid telephoning for results between 8.30am and 2.00pm as the lines are normally busy at this time with patients requiring house visits or appointments.

Please remember that the reception staff are there to help you and any questions they may ask are designed to assist the doctors in caring for your well-being. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO KEEP YOUR APPOINTMENT PLEASE LET US KNOW.

We would like to explain a little about the 3 types of appointments available to you.

ON-THE-DAY
There are a large number of appointments available each day when you phone the practice for patients who would like to be seen on this day and need to see the doctor.

PRE-BOOKABLE
There are a certain number of pre-bookable appointments available for each doctor every day in order for patients who like to see a particular doctor or who need to be reviewed on a regular basis. These appointments can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance and are available at all different times of the day to suit working people.

TELEPHONE
We have introduced telephone consultations within the doctor's surgeries and these appointments are available to patients who do not need to be examined by the doctor. They can be used to discuss recent hospital letters or results or problems with prescriptions or to discuss insurance certificates etc. They have been very popular especially with those who work or find it difficult to get to the surgery. When you are offered a telephone consultation this means the doctor will phone you back at a designated time.
