You can book your appointment, either by telephoning 0844 477 3170 or calling at the surgery. The Practice is open between 8.30am and 5.30pm where patients are seen by apppointments during this time.
Please avoid telephoning for results between 8.30am and 2.00pm as the lines are normally busy at this time with patients requiring house visits or appointments.
Please remember that the reception staff are there to help you and any questions they may ask are designed to assist the doctors in caring for your well-being. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO KEEP YOUR APPOINTMENT PLEASE LET US KNOW.

Our Appointment system offers the following type of appointments:
ON-THE-DAY APPOINTMENTS
There are a large number of appointments available each day when patients phone the practice who would like to be seen on this day and who need to see a doctor.
PRE-BOOKABLE APPOINTMENTS
There are a certain number of appointments available for each doctor every day in order for patients who like to see a particular doctor or who need to be reviewed on a regular basis. These appointments can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance and are available at all different times of the day to suit working people, etc.
LATE NIGHT APPOINTMENTS
We now provide surgeries every Tuesday and Thursday Evenings 5:30 to 7:30pm. Advance bookings for those unable to attend during the day. For emergencies still use out-of-hours service - Contact number 08454 242424
TELEPHONE CONSULTATIONS
Telephone consultations are available to patients who do not need to be examined by a doctor or nurse. The can be used to discuss recent hospital letters or results and problems that they may be having with their medication. When making a telephone consultation patients are given a specific time that the doctor will call them back.
YOU CAN HELP BY:
- always cancelling unwanted appointments
- Reserving house visit requests for genuinely housebound and elderly patients
- Using the repeat prescription service for ordering repeat prescriptions
- Speaking to the pharmacist about minor illnesses
- Speaking to a receptionist about insurance and other forms which need to be completed by the doctor
- Arranging a telephone consultation with the GP if you do not need examined
- Phoning for blood and x-ray results and making an appointment only if they need to be discussed
