This practice has been awarded the QPA (Quality Practice Award) for the second time in 2004. This is awarded for 5 years only to ensure that high standards of patient care and services are upheld.
In order to renew the above award your doctor and/or primary health care team took part in an assessment of the quality of care they provide. This assessment was carried out by the Royal College of General Practitioners. An assessment team visited the practice. The team consisted of General Practitioners and other practice staff and lay persons. As part of the assessment, members of the team looked at samples of patients’ records in order to assess the quality of patient care. All members of the assessment team have a duty of confidentiality and no personal information will be passed on to any other person by any member of the assessment team.
