Are you a Carer?

The person you care for can be a family member, friend or neighbour. Many carers take this role willingly out of a sense of love or committment. Others become carers because they feel that they have no choice. Caring for someone is often rewarding but can be demanding, isolating and stressfull. Carers may be worried about money or their own health. North Ayrshire Carers Centre is based at 174 High Street, Irvine. Telephone 01294 311333 or email northayrshire.carers@unity-enterprise.com. The centre offers carers impartial confidential help. The centre also offers a home visit service.

Practice Complaints Procedure

If you have a complaint or concern about the service you have received from the doctors or any of the staff working in this practice, please let us know. We operate a practice complaints procedure as part of an NHS system dealing with complaints. Our complaints system meets national criteria. Please ask for an In-House Complaints Leaflet.

Complaining to the Health Board
We hope that if you have a problem, you will make use of our practice complaints procedure. We believe this will give us the best chance of putting right whatever has gone wrong and an opportunity to improve our practice. But this does not affect your right to approach the Health Board. If you feel you cannot raise your complaint with us or you are dissatisfied with the result of our investigation.

You should contact the Health Board Complaints Officer;
