In February we undertook 203 house visits. This is four times as many as other local practices of a similar size. House visits take a substantial amount of doctor time.

Rethinking Pain – ‘Flippin’ Pain Webinars

NHS Scotland are delighted to host three FREE online talks about chronic pain, delivered by Flippin’ Pain.

‘Flippin’ Pain has a number of key campaign messages focused on raising awareness of the problem of persistent pain, spreading the word about a modern scientific understanding of pain, and giving people knowledge, skills and hope for a better way forward.

Professor Lorimer Moseley AO is a world leader in the science of how pain works, why pain sometimes doesn’t go away and the best ways to treat it. He has written over 370 scientific articles and seven books. He was recently made an Officer of the Order of Australia (the Australian equivalent of an OBE) for his contribution to pain science and management, science communication and pain education.
